HAKKINDA
Hikayemiz 1942 yılında, İngiltere’de Newcastle-upon-Tyne yakınlarındaki Wallsend kentinde, Cookson’ın esnek PVC’ye stabilizatör olarak kurşun tuzu üretmesiyle başladı. Kısa bir süre sonra Cookson, Avustralya’nın Sidney şehrinde bir üretim tesisi açtı.
1976 yılında, Akdeniz Kimya, PVC stabilizatörleri ve diğer endüstriyel kimyasalları üretip satan bir şirket olarak İzmir’de kuruldu.
1986 yılında, Alman stabilizatör üreticisi Chemetall ve İngiliz Cookson Group ortak bir teşebbüsle Chemson adı altında faaliyetlerini birleştirdi ve genel merkezlerini Almanya’nın Frankfurt am Main bölgesine taşıdılar. Firma; Almanya, İngiltere ve Avustralya’daki tesislerinde faaliyete başladı. 2000 yılında, bir yönetim satın alması sonucu, Chemson Polymer-Additive AG şirketi Avusturya’nın Arnoldstein kentinde kuruldu.
